SOCCER
UALR WOMEN SHUT OUT LOUISIANA-LAFAYETTE

    Aurielle Dutchover scored twice as the UALR recorded its second shutout of the season.
    The Trojans (3-4) downed Sun Belt Conference foe Louisiana-Lafayette (1-4) 2-0 at Riverdale Soccer complex.
    UALR goalkeepers Jayme Butts and Heather Friedman notched the shutout, with Butts getting credit for three of the Trojans four saves. UALR is at home Sunday against Stephen F. Austin State University.
   
VOLLEYBALL
UALR SWEEPS THROUGH ST. JOHN'S
    Tanja Radovic had a match-high 20 kills and 11 digs to lead UALR (6-2) over St. John's, 15-11, 15-10, 15-9, in New York. St. John's dropped to 7-3.
    Radovic led a trio of Trojans with double-figure kills in the match. Raquel Sampaio added 11 kills. Jelena Radovanovic had 15.
