VOLLEYBALL
UALR SWEEPS MIDDLE TENNESSEE

    UALR (11-3, 4-1 Sun Belt Conference) topped Middle Tennessee ( 8-9, 2-3) 15-6, 15-7, 15-9 Friday.
    Tanja Radovic led three Trojans with 14 kills, Raquel Sampaio added 13 and Marijana Bego had 10.
    At the service line, Jelena Radovanovic had three aces while Radovic, Shiloh Kinney and Gina Fowler each had two.
    Katie Thiesen led Middle Tennessee with 12 kills.
    The Trojans will host Western Kentucky on Saturday night in the Trojan Fieldhouse. The match begins at 7 p.m.
   
TENNIS
FIVE ADVANCE TO TOURNEY FINALS

    Five members of the UALR women's tennis team advanced to the finals in the North Texas Tournament Friday.
    Among the qualifiers were Olga Rejniak, Kelly Bucewicz, Layla Thome, Montserrat Flores and Alejandra Lopez.
    In the lone flight of doubles action, the Trojans have a pair of teams that reached the semi-finals, including Rejniak and Bucewicz in one half , and Thome and Lopez in the other.
