South Alabama shuts out UALR in soccer

Cindy Rainville became South Alabama's all-time points leader with 83 as South Alabama shut out UALR 2-0 in a Sun Belt Conference match Sunday. Rainville gave South Alabama (8-5, 3-1) a 1-0 lead with her goal in the 76th minute, surpassing Hilla Rantala (81) for most points in school history. Rainville had an assist in the 79th minute. UALR (4-11, 1-3) lost its fifth in a row.
