Wisconsin pitcher commits to Razorbacks

FAYETTEVILLE -- Right-hander Scott Roehl of Somers (Wis.) Shoreland Lutheran surprised Arkansas pitching coach Tim Montez by orally committing to the Razorbacks Wednesday night.
Montez was making an in-home recruiting visit to Roehl (6-0, 180), who chose Arkansas instead of Oklahoma State, New Orleans, Illinois and Evansville.
"He was shocked; He didn't believe it at first," Roehl said. "I'm just really happy to be going there. They have great facilities and great coaches.
"They think that with a little bit of practice and a little bit of hard work, I could get right in there."
