Lady Razorbacks track assistant moves up

Rolando Greene has become the associate head coach for women's track and field at Arkansas.
Greene was assistant coach for the Lady Razorbacks the past four seasons, helping Coach Lance Harter build Arkansas into a triple-crown champion in the SEC last season and top four in the nation.
"Lonnie is a vital part of the success that we are realizing here at Arkansas," Harter said. "We have had the stereotype as a distance program, but he has complemented our weapons in the distance events with great ballistic event power to help us create a total program."
"I am flattered and honored that the chief [Harter] and Ms. [Bev] Lewis deemed me worthy to be considered for such a position," Greene said. "The University of Arkansas has such a strong reputation in track and field around the world that the chance to be considered an associate head coach here is a great blessing and I am very thankful."
