QB Robby Hampton threw an interception that was returned for a TD on Arkansas' first play. The Bulldogs had a touchdown pass called back on a holding penalty and the drive resulted in a punt, but they led 10-0 after the quarter. SECOND QUARTER It was all Georgia again, dominating field position and Arkansas' defense. The Bulldogs used the run to hammer out a 12-play TD drive, then used the pass to set up another drive that was capped by a 21-yard TD run. Arkansas moved past midfield for the first time with about a minute left, but got no closer to the end zone than the Georgia 34-yard line. HALFTIME SCORE Georgia 24, Arkansas 0 THIRD QUARTER Arkansas came out even flatter, punting away its first two possessions and throwing an interception on the third. Georgia scored on a 44-yard pass, aided by rover Corey Harris' missed tackle, and a 14-yard run. FOURTH QUARTER A 98-yard touchdown drive capped by a 6-yard touchdown pass to Michael Snowden kept the game from being a shutout. Georgia used its reserves on offense and defense and ran simple plays to keep from running up the score. FINAL SCORE Georgia 38, Arkansas 7
