Breeden not cleared for game

Sophomore receiver Sam Breeden will not play today because his transfer from junior college is not complete, Coach Houston Nutt said Friday.
Nutt said almost two weeks ago that he believed Breeden's transfer paperwork had been cleared. Breeden has practiced since Aug. 22. But as of Friday, Arkansas still had not received all of the paperwork from a school in Arizona through which Breeden did coursework, Nutt said.
Breeden is one of four players who will miss the opener. Orlando Green (hamstring), Randy Garner (suspension) and cornerback Lawrence Richardson (ineligible) also are out. Right tackle Brett Shockley (strained arch) is questionable.
