KEYS TO VICTORY
The Lady Razorbacks must cut down on the 25.6 turnovers per game they are committing in SEC play. Arkansas would also benefit from not falling behind early, as it did in back-to-back losses to LSU and Kentucky. Offensively, the Lady Razorbacks must recognize the Bulldogs' switching defenses. Arkansas also must defend and rebound better against a Mississippi State team that it matches up with favorably sizewise. |
QUOTING ARKANSAS COACH GARY BLAIR
"We've got a lot of history of starting off bad in the conference. But we also have a lot of history of coming out of bad starts and doing well. That's what we're going to have to believe in." |
NOTEWORTHY
Freshman forward Lakishia Harper is expected to play after missing the past five games with a stress fracture in her right foot. ... Mississippi State senior starting guards Nitra Perry and Angela Harris are from Pine Bluff. ... The Bulldogs have a school-record 15-game home winning streak. |
